Lead Java Backend Developer

Enhance applications as a Lead Backend Developer in Java Spring Boot at our Brampton office, with 3 days onsite per week. Drive architecture development and lead your technical team effectively.

This contract role requires an experienced developer with 8 to 15 years in Java backend technologies, specifically Java Spring Boot. You will be responsible for creating scalable microservices, leading code reviews, and managing technical challenges through collaboration in an Agile Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide implementation teams on coding and design standards

• Develop and optimize REST and SOAP APIs seamlessly

• Mentor developers and conduct regular code reviews

• Resolve complex technical issues and refine requirements

• Introduce new tools and techniques to enhance productivity

Requirements:

• 8 to 15 years of experience in Java Backend development

• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture

• Proficient in AI-assisted development tools

• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Dev Ops

• Excellent leadership and communication skills
