Based in Brampton, ON, as a full-time Software Safety Engineer, you'll conduct safety assessments and analyses critical to project success. Your responsibilities include developing software safety requirements while working closely with multiple engineering disciplines to ensure comprehensive safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze safety and hazard aspects of software-driven systems
• Formulate product safety requirements for various missions
• Collaborate on safety-related input across engineering teams
• Review and analyze safety-critical software and documentation
• Deliver presentations on safety designs at review panels
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science
• Demonstrated expertise in safety-critical software environments
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Strong continuous improvement mindset
• Proven aptitude in operational safety practices
