The work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions using computer equipment, GPS, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and reduce carbon emissions.
Demonstrate professionalism in customer service.
Load and unload goods.
Oversee condition of vehicle; inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
Pay and receive payments for goods.
Perform emergency roadside repairs.
Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption.
