Charger Logistics is expanding, looking for a proactive Freight Coordinator to manage logistics operations from its Brampton office. In this role, you'll coordinate inbound and outbound freight, ensure that company policies are upheld, and analyze performance to achieve transportation targets. You will also communicate with customers and carriers to resolve any discrepancies that arise during shipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inbound and outbound freight coordination
• Confirm carrier compliance with established regulations
• Negotiate shipping rates, focusing on profitability
• Handle discrepancies with brokers and customers
• Check and resolve shipping and customs documentation issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business
• At least 1 year experience in Supply Chain or Transportation
• Familiarity with FTL shipments and logistics practices
• Knowledge of North American geography
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong problem-solving abilities
