Join IKO Industries as a Warehouse Person B, where you'll manage forklift operations and ensure quality in material handling. This essential full-time role combines teamwork with independent responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Warehouse Person B is integral to maintaining production and quality standards. You will operate a counterbalance forklift, verify load accuracy, and employ the FIFO method for product management. This role requires adaptability to different weather conditions and effective communication skills to guide truck drivers efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with drivers for safety and accuracy
• Implement FIFO system for product identification
• Load and unload materials with precision
• Support inventory management and counts as needed
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have valid class 1 forklift certification
• Minimum of 2 years forklift experience preferred
• Ability to work overtime and on weekends
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
