Day Shift Dock Supervisor

Lead the day shift team as a Dock Supervisor in Brampton, ON for a reputable Transportation and Logistics company. This role demands strong leadership in overseeing dock staff and managing freight operations.

We're seeking a skilled Dock Supervisor with experience in crossdock facilities to supervise activities from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. You will oversee scheduling, loading and unloading of freight, and ensure the quality of incoming and outgoing goods. Effective communication and problem-solving are key to navigating operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and supervise dock staff activities

• Coordinate loading and unloading of freight

• Inspect freight for damages during operations

• Communicate with other dock supervisors daily

• Investigate delays and collaborate with management

Requirements:

• Experience as a Supervisor in Transportation/Logistics

• Proven track record in LTL/TL crossdock environments

• Strong leadership and motivational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
