Position: IKO Warehouse person with Forklift Skills
IKo Industries seeks a skilled Warehouse person to operate forklifts and manage warehousing duties effectively. This full-time role emphasizes workplace teamwork and safety in all operations.

Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, you will be instrumental in ensuring equipment operates smoothly and efficiently. Your experience with materials handling and forklift operation will be crucial in loading and unloading trucks, while working in varied outdoor environments. The integrity and quality of operations depend on your diligent performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down counterbalance forklift while certified

• Communicate with drivers for precise load handling

• Identify products using FIFO methodology

• Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks

• Collaborate on inventory counting as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum educational requirement: high school diploma or GED

• Valid class 1 forklift certification required

• Two years of experience operating forklifts needed

• Availability for overtime and weekends, as necessary

• Ability to pass a fit for duty physical test
