Utilize your detail-oriented skills as an OS&D Clerk with Old Dominion Freight Line. Help ensure accuracy in shipments while providing exceptional customer service in a supportive team environment.
In this role, you will inspect freight, manage claims, and collaborate with teams to solve challenges daily. Old Dominion values its employees and offers a dynamic work-life balance. The ideal candidate has experience in transportation operations and a strong customer service background.
Key Responsibilities:
• Locate and resolve freight overages, shortages, and damage
• Provide top-notch customer service to internal and external clients
• Handle various freight types, including Hazmat materials
• Prepare necessary paperwork for OS&D processes
• Maintain accurate records of OS&D reports
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1 year of experience in office or operations, preferably in transportation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AS400 and SAP experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with multi-tasking capabilities
