Manifesting Administrative Clerk

We are looking for a Manifesting Clerk to join our client's team in Brampton, ON.

This job is on the night shift Tuesday-Saturday at a Transportation facility. Starting at midnight on Monday night/Tuesday morning and finishing on Saturday morning.

Pay: $20.00/hour

Shift: 12:00am-8:30am Tuesday-Saturday

Responsibilities:
- Assigning freight to correct trailers/routes/destinations
- Preparing/processing inbound and outbound manifests, verifying documents and ensuring accuracy with no discrepancies
- Ensuring freight is routed correctly, tracking shipments, and communicating shipping updates to appropriate teams
- Entering data into software
- Printing, filing, and maintaining documents
- Responding to emails/phone calls from drivers, carriers, and customers
- Assisting with scheduling pickups, deliveries, and trailer movements
- Assisting with crossdock operations to ensure freight is unloaded, sorted, and reloaded efficiently
- Other duties as required

Qualifications:

- Previous experience within the Transportation/Logistics industry in Manifesting or similar role
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong Administrative/data entry skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Good computer skills
- High attention to detail
- Able to work effectively individually or as part of a team
- Able to work Tuesday to Saturday on the night shift
- Able to train on an earlier schedule for the first two weeks of the position
