Air Transport Cargo Handler Position

Start your career with Calm Air as an Air Transport Cargo Handler. Operate ground support equipment, manage cargo and baggage, and ensure timely delivery of shipments.

In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks including driving ramp-servicing vehicles, loading and unloading cargo, and sorting baggage under security regulations. Your duties will extend to organizing the warehouse, notifying customers about their freight, and utilizing the Amelia Cargo System for efficient cargo handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive ramp-servicing vehicles and operate aircraft cargo doors

• Load and unload passenger baggage and freight from aircraft

• Transport freight between airport warehouse and aircraft

• Maintain daily inventory and manage consignments

• Provide exceptional customer service regarding cargo inquiries

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED is an asset

• Ability to lift 50 lbs and follow directions

• Valid Class 5F driver's license

• Previous warehousing knowledge is preferred

• Ability to communicate in Inuktitut/Inuinnaqtun is a plus
