Warehouse Operator

Your Daily Contribution & Impact:

This position will primarily work with our Returns Team

Maintains inventory by identifying, sorting, labeling, counting, placing materials in stock and recording location of where inventory is stored.

Maintains storage and distribution of product by pulling orders from warehouse to staging / shipping area; or re-stocking products on shelves.

Operate powered, mobile / lifting equipment for order picking of bulk items. This position will primarily operate an Order Picker and Walkie Rider

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Expertise & Essential

Skills:

Previous work experience in a similar role is a definitive asset.

Must be in good physical condition (ability to stand, walk, sit, and handle parts)

Must be capable of lift parts up to 50 pounds (23kg)

Ability to work with rolling equipment (pallet jacks, trolleys, carts)

Ability to work with Powered lifting devices such as a Reach truck, Walkie Rider and Stock Chasers. Experience with an Order Picker and Reach Truck is preferred but will provide practical training for a suitable applicant that has passed a CSA approve Forklift course. Must pass practical competency test on all equipment that will be operated.

Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

Possess ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Computer literacy (mandatory)

Experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is an asset.

Available on occasion to work outside regular business hours.

Organized and self-disciplined.

Task oriented.

Diplomatic and tactful in communication

Maintain spirit of cooperation with co-workers.
