The pay range for the role is $62,600 to $104,300 plus bonus, comprehensive benefits, retirement savings plan, paid vacation, and other perks and opportunities.
Role Scope
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the scope of this position involves hands‑on coordinating and managing the operations of both the finished goods and raw material warehouses, ensuring that HACCP regulations are followed, and exceptional customer service levels are maintained. This position is responsible for ensuring the safe, timely and accurate loading and unloading of transport trucks.
Key Accountabilities
Run warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with all safety standards and HACCP regulations
Supervision of warehouse staff, coordinate and prioritize workflow, provide training, performance evaluation and disciplinary procedures
Responsible as a super user of the warehouse management system
Recommend and implement changes to improve processes and productivity to ensure warehouse runs in an accurate and efficient manner
Ensure warehouse facility is kept clean, all stock is maintained in an appropriate manner, good stock rotation practices are in place, and product is kept clean and damage free to ensure quality integrity
Completion and documentation of MSS and HACCP related items
Ability to be flexible in terms of shift work and weekend work and perform other duties as required
Qualifications & Competencies
Post secondary education and/or minimum five (5) years’ relevant work experience in a lead hand or supervisory capacity.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, including excellent sanitary habits and knowledge of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) considered a strong asset.
Solid experience and working knowledge of an automated Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, including written and verbal
Effective leadership skills with the ability to work well with and through others.
Familiar with total quality management and continuous improvement processes.
Good decision-making & problem-solving capabilities.
Computer skills – experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Physically capable of performing the demands of the job
