Position Summary
The Warehouse Manager is accountable for ensuring the safe, productive, reliable, timely execution, and monitoring & analysis of all warehouse and inventory control operations within the DC, while supporting all restaurants within its designated region. This role leads and supports the warehouse operations within a 24-7 multi-temperature environment. The role is responsible for achieving safety, service and finance goals through continuous improvement, innovation and leadership of the warehouse supervisory team, inventory control team, and warehouse employees.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate warehouse and inventory control operations to meet safety, service, and financial targets.

Ensure compliance with Martin Brower Health & Safety policies, provincial legislation, SFCR, GFSI, GWP/GDP.

Manage safety programs: training, inspections, incident investigations, root‑cause analysis.

Develop and administer cost‑effective operational schedules.

Provide on‑going training for warehouse employees, inventory control staff, and supervisors.

Achieve operational KPIs and submit weekly Pride reports.

Manage day‑to‑day operational expenditures, prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports, identify variances, and suggest corrective actions.

Review and approve weekly payroll.

Prepare business cases for equipment and facility improvements.

Recruit, supervise, and evaluate department supervisors and warehouse staff.

Coordinate labour relations, grievance procedures, and maintain union relationships.

Maintain compliance with all safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards for plant, equipment, and transport.

Qualifications

University degree or college diploma in logistics or related field.

3–5 years progressive warehouse and inventory control management experience with strong leadership and relationship‑building skills.

Experience in a high‑velocity distribution environment.

Strong work ethic, time‑management, and multitasking ability.

Excellent communication, presentation, and problem‑solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Successful completion of a post‑offer background and drug test required.
