Adecco is currently hiring a Warehouse Supervisor for a full-time opportunity in Brampton, ON. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional with strong supervisory skills who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment. In this role, you will oversee daily warehouse operations, provide leadership to warehouse staff, and ensure products are received, stored, and shipped safely and efficiently while maintaining high operational standards.
  • Pay Rate: $25-$35/hour
  • Location: Brampton, ON
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • Employment Type: Full-Time | Temporary

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate receiving, storage, and shipping activities.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to warehouse employees, including Operations Clerks, Operators, Drivers, Lead Hands, Shipper/Receivers, and other operations staff.
  • Support warehouse administrative staff with SAP business system activities and operational processes.
  • Act as the primary site supervisor when site management is absent.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance warehouse efficiency and employee productivity.
  • Assist in maintaining plant assets, housekeeping standards, and equipment performance while identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the timely movement of products and customer orders.
  • Promote Brenntag's Core Values and support compliance with company policies and business practices.
  • Participate in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and evaluating warehouse employees.
  • Support and enforce Job 7 product shipment best practices.
  • Ensure all warehouse activities comply with quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing coaching to achieve operational objectives.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring all employees follow established safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Qualifications
  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Secondary School Diploma required;
    College Diploma in Chemistry or Business is preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Knowledge of provincial and federal regulations related to chemical manufacturing or distribution.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and lead teams in a fast-paced environment.
