Heavy General Labour

Adecco is currently hiring Heavy General Labourers for a full-time opportunity with our client in Brampton, ON. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy physically demanding work and are comfortable lifting, moving, and handling materials throughout their shift.
As a Heavy General Labourer, you will support warehouse operations through loading, unloading, sorting, moving products, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This position requires stamina, reliability, and the ability to perform repetitive physical tasks in a fast-paced setting.

• Pay Rate: up to $20.00/hour
• Location: Brampton, ON
• Shifts:
  • Days:
    Mon to Fri - 6:45am-3:00pm
  • Afternoons:
    Mon to Fri - 3:00pm-11:15pm
  • Weekends PT:
    Sat & Sun - 6:45am-5:15pm
  • Overnight:
    Sun - Thurs - 10:45pm- 7:00am
• Job type: Temporary with possibility of permanence | Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, move, and sort materials throughout the warehouse
• Lift, carry, and relocate products manually and with appropriate equipment
• Stack, palletize, and wrap products for storage or shipment
• Support shipping, receiving, and inventory movement activities
• Perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily operational targets

Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse, manufacturing, construction, or general labour experience is an asset
• Ability to lift and carry 30 lbs regularly throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs or more on a frequent basis
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work for extended periods
• Able to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the workday
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Flexible and willing to perform a variety of labour-intensive tasks
• Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
