** What You’ll Be Doing
**
* Duties and Responsibilities:
** Wash/Clean pump and power equipment (generators, dewatering and sewage pumps, etc.) when it’s returned.
* Maintain a clean and organized equipment yard and wash bay area.
* Assist drivers with loading and unloading equipment.
* Operate heavy-duty forklift.
* Check equipment for damage upon return, report damage and fill out service tags for all returned equipment.
* Assist with inventory management.
* Deliver small equipment and tools if needed.
* Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.
** What You’ll Bring to the Team
*** Qualifications and Requirements:
** Valid Class G/5 driver’s license required, with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You’ll be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.
* Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
* Forklift license or experience operating forklifts is an asset.
* Must be comfortable with working outdoors year-round.
* Mechanical aptitude and/or previous experience operating equipment is an asset.
* Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
* Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
* Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment.
* Curiosity to learn new things & understand more about construction equipment and the rental industry.
* Comfortable with computers/technology (for filling out inspections, inventory management, etc.)
* Familiarity with inventory systems, shipping/receiving, and warehouse best practices is an asset.
