Overview

Reporting to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader, you will perform day‑to‑day accounts receivable functions in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Process high‑volume customer remittances & deductions.
  • Analyze customer claims for deductions; shortages; price discrepancies.
  • Process customer payments (EDI, Wire Transfers, and Cheques).
  • Follow up with customers for collections and deductions.
  • Process Claims.
  • Navigate through Customer Portals (review invoice status/customer invoicing, etc.).
  • Liaise with other departments for issue resolution.
  • Perform regular account reconciliations and keep customer accounts current.
  • Produce reports, as required.
  • Perform other accounting‑related duties, as required.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Food Industry experience is preferred.
  • Completed post‑secondary education in Accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License and vehicle (to make bank deposits).
  • Advanced Excel.
