Position: Project Accountant for Construction Projects
Expand your financial expertise as a Project Accountant with a leading general contractor in Manitoba. Support cost management, implement an ERP system, and engage with diverse projects.

This role targets Junior to Mid-Level Cost Controllers looking to enhance their skills in project accounting and financial analysis. You will facilitate the implementation of a new ERP system, monitor costs against budgets, and prepare insightful financial reports. Collaborating with Project Managers will be key to your success and growth in this vibrant construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor costs versus budgets and forecasts

• Track commitments and actual costs across projects

• Support ERP system implementation and data integrity

• Prepare cost and financial analysis reports

• Collaborate with project management teams and provide training

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Finance or Accounting

• 2–4 years in project accounting or financial analysis

• Experience with ERP systems, knowledge of Maestro is a plus

• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and lookups

• Familiarity with construction project environments
