As an Accounting Technician at MNP, a leading Canadian accounting and tax advisory firm, you'll play a critical role in delivering customized tax strategies. Your responsibilities will include preparing personal and corporate tax returns, reviewing financial statements, and collaborating with clients. You'll work alongside a diverse, innovative team focused on transforming business practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns

• Set up client files and year-end tax forms

• Provide bookkeeping and prepare journal entries

• Review legal documents related to tax engagements

• Correspond with clients on tax compliance issues

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in accounting or related field

• Preferred experience in accounting or client services

• Knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act

• Familiarity with tax software is an asset

• Willingness to travel as necessary
