MNP, a leading national accounting and advisory firm, is seeking an Accounting Technician to bolster our Assurance & Accounting team. This role is perfect for individuals with entry-level to two years of relevant accounting experience. You will assist with audits, bookkeeping, and prepare government filings, enabling clients to make informed financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in compilation, review, and tax engagements

• Prepare government remittances and filings accurately

• Set-up and maintain client financial files

• Perform month-end and quarter-end closing tasks

• Reconcile cash and GL accounts efficiently

Requirements:

• Accounting certificate or business degree is preferred

• 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience

• Familiarity with tax preparation (T4s, T5s)

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles

• Proficiency in accounting software is advantageous
