MNP is a leading Canadian accounting and business advisory firm. As an Accounting Technician, you will assist in various tasks, including audit preparation, bookkeeping, and managing tax engagements. This role is perfect for those with entry-level to two years of accounting experience, aiming to make a significant impact on financial decision-making for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with audits, bookkeeping, and tax engagements

• Prepare government remittances and manage client accounts

• Complete month-end and quarter-end closing processes

• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts

• Collaborate with client engagement teams for optimal results

Requirements:

• Accounting certificate or business administration degree

• Entry level to 2 years of relevant experience

• Knowledge of T4s/T5s and personal/corporate tax

• Familiarity with accounting software is preferred

• Willingness to travel as needed
