Assurance Accounting Technician

As an Accounting Technician on MNP's Assurance & Accounting team, you'll provide essential support in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. This full-time, on-site role involves assisting with audits, bookkeeping, and tax engagements while ensuring comprehensive financial information for clients. Your input will help clients make informed decisions confidently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with audits, bookkeeping, and tax engagements

• Prepare government remittances and maintain accounts

• Set up client files and assist with budgets

• Perform month-end and quarter-end close processes

• Reconcile GL accounts including cash and bank

Requirements:

• Accounting certificate or bachelor’s degree in relevant fields

• Up to 2 years of accounting experience preferred

• Familiarity with T4s and T5s is an asset

• Working knowledge of accounting software is a plus

• Willingness to travel occasionally
