Position: Accounting Technician at MNP

MNP is seeking a dedicated Accounting Technician to support diverse client needs in a dynamic environment. This full-time role focuses on tasks including bookkeeping, tax engagements, and financial reporting. You will collaborate with a skilled team, providing tailored financial insights while adhering to best practices in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with compilation, review, and audits for various engagements

• Prepare government remittances and manage accounts payable/receivable

• Set up client files and assist with budget completion

• Perform month-end and quarter-end closing processes

• Reconcile GL accounts and identify discrepancies

Requirements:

• Accounting certificate or business administration degree

• 0-2 years of relevant accounting experience

• Familiarity with preparing T4s and T5s preferred

• Knowledge of accounting principles and software

• Flexibility to travel as needed
