Samet seeks a skilled Preconstruction Estimator to join our team based in Greensboro or Charlotte, NC. Leverage your mechanical and electrical systems knowledge in a vibrant, family-oriented environment.
In this role at Samet, you'll prepare cost estimates, conduct lifecycle analyses, and help with project scheduling. Collaborating with civil and architectural teams, you’ll prepare scopes of work and facilitate project delivery through field inspections. A background in construction estimating is essential for making impactful contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create comprehensive estimates for mechanical/plumbing/electrical systems
• Support civil and architectural preconstruction tasks
• Assist in developing project schedules using CPM
• Write detailed scopes of work and specifications
• Perform inspections for quality and delivery coordination
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field
• 3-5 years of estimating experience in construction
• Sage Estimating software knowledge preferred
• Experience in energy modeling studies is a plus
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
