Occupational Safety Coordinator

As a key position within Corporate Services, you will mentor safety staff and enhance safety initiatives.
Your role involves ensuring compliance with Manitoba's safety legislation while also delivering effective training and support to supervisors. You will play a crucial role in improving safety performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and communicate a corporate safety philosophy
• Supervise and lead Safety staff to achieve goals
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety legislation
• Provide effective corporate safety and health training
• Prepare and present safety reports to stakeholders
Requirements:
• Grade 12 or equivalent, plus Occupational Safety Certification
• Five years of experience in workplace safety
• Valid Intermediate First Aid and CPR-C certification
• Class 5 Manitoba Driver's License
• Three years of supervisory experience
