Half-Time Educational Assistant (Mornings)
Position: Educational Assistant (0.5 FTE)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
Focus: Middle School (Grades 4–8)
Start Date: September 2026
Western Canada Hockey Academy is a relationship-driven, student-centered learning environment that blends strong academics with athletic development. Our middle school program emphasizes leadership, accountability, work ethic, and personal growth — both in the classroom and beyond.
We are looking for an Educational Assistant who believes that relationships come first and who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Support students during math, literacy, and content-area instruction
- Assist with small-group instruction and individual learning needs
- Help maintain a focused and productive classroom environment
- Build strong, positive relationships with students
- Support behavior and organization systems
- Communicate effectively with classroom teachers
