Responsibilities
- Provide one‑on‑one support during daily routines and activities
- Implement behaviour management and de‑escalation strategies
- Encourage communication, emotional regulation, and social skill development
- Support safety during challenging behaviours
- Collaborate with family members and professionals
- Maintain clear documentation and progress notes
- Minimum 3 years’ experience supporting children with autism and behavioural challenges
- Knowledge of behaviour intervention and crisis management strategies
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Education or certification in special education or a related field is an asset
- Calm, patient, flexible, and compassionate approach
