Exciting career as a Fiddling Instructor at Area 2 Schools starting September 8, 2026. Engage with students and expand this vital division program alongside a talented instructional team.
In this role, you will enhance the Division’s Fiddling Program, which spans 31 schools across vibrant communities, including Skownan and Waterhen. You will deliver lessons while managing classrooms effectively. This permanent position seeks candidates with a Bachelor of Education and a valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach fiddling techniques to students of various ages
• Ensure effective classroom management
• Contribute to the expansion of the fiddling program
• Work alongside an experienced instructional team
• Adapt lessons to meet student needs and preferences
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education; valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate
• Previous experience in fiddling instruction is essential
• Required Manitoba driver’s license for travel
• Ability to play guitar is an asset
• Understanding of Indigenous cultures preferred
