Mountain View School Division invites applications for the Principal role, overseeing K-12 education starting September 8, 2026. We're looking for a transformative leader with significant teaching experience and a vision for school excellence.
Successful candidates must hold a Manitoba Teaching Certificate and have at least five years of educational leadership experience.
Your role will include developing a positive school culture and an effective communication strategy with all stakeholders. A strong understanding of Indigenous education is preferred along with organizational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct school educational strategies and goals
• Cultivate a positive school climate and culture
• Facilitate communication among staff and community
• Prepare and maintain compliance with regulations
• Engage in ongoing professional development efforts
Requirements:
• Manitoba Teaching Certificate is essential
• Minimum five years teaching experience required
• Interest in post-graduate administration studies preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage school tasks
