Key Duties:

  • To assist with the set up for examinations and monitoring of students during examinations according to established procedures.
  • assist with checking student IDs
  • monitor students during examination
  • watch for any unauthorized materials, electronic devices, or other non-permitted items
  • assist with the collection of examinations
  • administer sign-in sheet

Qualifications/

Experience:

  • Limited advanced skills and judgment
  • Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively
  • Ability to take direction and work to meet deadlines
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to follow the marking guide and scheme efficiently and precisely with attention to detail
  • Previous marking experience preferred
  • Understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Preference given to current Brandon University student; second year undergraduate level/standing is required
  • Major in Psychology required. Must have successfully completed course applying for. At least grade of B in other Psychology courses is an asset.
  • Good overall academic standing.
