Duties

To assist with scheduled weekly labs under the direction of the lab instructor for 38:170 (How Earth Works: Applied Physical Geography) during the Fall term.

  • 1. Assist instructor with set-up or demonstrations.
  • 2. Help to explain labs and answer students’ questions during lab time.
  • 3. Keep work areas clean and tidy.
  • 4. Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience
Skill set
  • -Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively;
  • -Ability to work courteously with the public;
  • -Ability to communicate clearly and effectively;
  • -Detail-oriented, punctual and reliable
Education and Experience
  • -Preference given to current Brandon University student; at least second year undergraduate level is required;
  • -Strong academic standing with a Grade of A- or above in the course (38:170 How Earth Works);
  • -Demonstrated success in advanced Geography & Environment courses is an asset;
  • -Previous experience preferred.
