Become a Limited Term Teacher at Holmfield Colony School with Turtle Mountain School Division. This role focuses on teaching Grades K-6 ELA and middle school subjects from January 2027.
The 0.80 FTE teaching position at Holmfield Colony School spans January 4 through June 30, 2027. Engage with students in essential subjects, including English Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies, while adhering to salary guidelines set forth by the Provincial Teachers' Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide instruction in K-6 English Language Arts
• Teach Science and Social Studies to grades 7 and 8
• Oversee Elective classes for K-6
• Create lesson plans that engage and motivate students
• Evaluate student performance and adapt teaching strategies
Requirements:
• Active teaching certificate for Grades K-8 in Manitoba
• Familiarity with K-8 educational standards and curriculum
• Ability to nurture a positive learning environment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
