Substitute Teacher (Multiple Positions Available)

Christian Heritage School is seeking dedicated Substitute Teachers to join our team for the upcoming school year. As a Substitute Teacher, you will have the opportunity to support student learning and contributing to our school community on an as-needed basis.

• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher and facilitate learning activities according to school policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic growth.
• Implement classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
• Provide instruction, support, and supervision to students in various grade levels and subject areas.
• Collaborate with school staff and administrators to support the continuity of instruction in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure a smooth transition during the teacher's absence.

• Manitoba Teaching Certificate or eligibility for a Substitute Teaching Permit is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field is preferred.
• Experience working with students in an educational setting is an asset.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in different grade levels and subject areas.
