Engineering​/CAD Technician

Springland Manufacturing is looking for an Engineering/CAD Technician to join our team.

Duties include
:

• Work with Autodesk Inventor to prepare drawings and models of products and production equipment.
• Work with ERP Software to build bills of material.
• Support Design, Product Development, Quality Control, Planning, Production and Sales Teams.
• Test physical and computerized drawings and prototypes for functionality, reliability and ease of manufacture.
• Research components, part suppliers and materials for suitability, durability and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Certificate/Diploma from an accredited CAD Technician program, or 2-5 years experience in 3D Parametric CAD or 2D CAD.
• Good command of written English in technical writing.
• Proficient in common office productivity software.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills.
• Quality Control background including problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Demonstrated organizational skills with strong oral and written communication abilities.
