We’re currently recruiting for the position of Mechanical Engineering Student for approximately eight months.
- Under the direction of the Lead Mechanical Systems Engineer or designate, the student will provide support to energy efficiency programs and initiatives at Efficiency Manitoba, including: reviewing and identifying trends in past program project data.
- Undertake market research for emerging HVAC technologies.
- Update and/or develop template calculation spreadsheets for various energy efficient technologies, including ground source heat pumps.
- Review energy consumption and performance of heat pump equipment and installation in Manitoba.
- Assist in the development of technical review materials and templates.
- Assist with reviews of building energy models and extracting information to provide high level summaries.
- Perform preliminary review of program submission materials for compliance with program requirements.
