• Hybrid - Primarily from home, one onsite day per month.
• Overtime (When required)

• Prepare accurate and detailed structural drawings, layouts, and plans using CAD and BIM software.
• Interpret structural engineering sketches, notes, and specifications into comprehensive construction documents.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and design intent.
• Modify existing drawings as required, incorporating engineering changes and field revisions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, zoning bylaws, and Manitoba or National specific construction standards.
• Maintain drawing and document control procedures and file management systems.
• Keep up-to-date with new drafting technologies, building materials, and Manitoba construction regulations.
• Any other duties as assigned by the general manager.

• Diploma in Engineering Technology required;
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in building design
• Strong understanding of Manitoba and National Building Codes
• Proficiency in 3D modelling software (e.g., Tekla Structures, Autodesk Revit, Sketch Up) required; willingness to learn and adopt new modelling tools is essential
• Experience working with Hutterite colonies considered an asset
• Project management experience considered an asset
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Note:

Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in precast concrete.
