Make a difference in engineering by joining Parkland County as a Project Technologist II. This temporary role focuses on community impact and requires technical expertise in municipal projects.
In your capacity as Project Technologist II, you will collaborate with the Engineering Services Department to support various capital infrastructure projects.
Your role involves assisting with contract administration, overseeing design review cycles, and managing project tasks under experienced supervision. Embrace a solution-oriented approach in a workplace that values teamwork and respect.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support engineering and construction project activities
• Assist with contract preparation and project oversight
• Conduct technical research and reporting tasks
• Manage asset inventory and coordinate project tasks
• Participate in field visits and audits of civil infrastructure
Requirements:
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology required
• Minimum of 5-7 years in a similar municipal role
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering contracts
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Skills in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD preferred
