IAMGOLD seeks an Open Pit Dewatering Engineer at the Côté Gold Mine. You will design and implement vital dewatering systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Your expertise will mitigate water-related risks and ensure slope stability through comprehensive management plans, enhancing operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design integrated open pit dewatering strategies
• Install and maintain high-capacity dewatering systems
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
• Analyze pump performance and water balance models
• Monitor pit water levels and diagnose system issues
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mining Engineering or related field
• Minimum five years' experience in mine water management
• Expertise in pump operations and troubleshooting
• Proficient in geotechnical and hydrogeological assessments
• Professional Engineering licensure preferred
