Experienced Draftsperson in Building Design

Shape the future of construction at Parkview Pre-Cast as a Structural & Architectural Draftsperson. In this position, you’ll transform engineering concepts into detailed designs for pre-cast concrete and steel structures.
This role requires a diploma in Engineering Technology and 3-5 years of building design experience. You will utilize CAD and BIM software to produce precise structural drawings and collaborate closely with engineers and architects throughout the design process. Modify existing drawings and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards for Manitoba and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed structural drawings with CAD or BIM

• Translate engineering sketches into comprehensive documents

• Work with project teams to verify drawing accuracy

• Update unfinished drawings based on engineering changes

• Maintain record of documents and comply with building regulations
Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering Technology essential

• 3-5 years of relevant building design

• Proficiency in 3D modelling software is necessary

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License

• Strong grasp of Manitoba and National Building Codes
