Position: Technical Communicator for Caterpillar Mining
Be a pivotal part of Toromont's team as a Technical Communicator dedicated to Caterpillar Mining. Engage directly with technicians to provide top-notch technical support while working full time.

This role requires extensive experience in the Heavy Equipment field, where you'll assist service operations by diagnosing and solving product issues. You'll conduct failure analyses and compose both site visit and technical reports that reflect your findings, ensuring that all product problems are addressed efficiently. Collaborate closely with both the internal teams and Caterpillar to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the mining service operations with technical expertise

• Act as a liaison between service departments and Caterpillar

• Analyze failures and document solutions systematically

• Write comprehensive reports on product performance

• Maintain consistent technical updates for repair technicians

Requirements:

• Heavy Equipment License or equivalent experience needed

• Minimum of 5 years diagnosing Cat Heavy Equipment

• Proven communication ability in both French and English

• Strong understanding of failure analysis techniques

• Familiarity with Microsoft applications required
