Financial Lead​/Controller

Location: 10 minutes south of Brandon MB

Oakland Products is a western Canadian based, manufacturing company specializing in building agricultural grain dryers for the agriculture sector of North America. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Lead/Controller to join our team and support our financial operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality in our shop and systems.

• Manage and oversee Quick Books Online for all accounting tasks, including invoicing, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and reconciliation.
• Administer and optimize our ERP system, Fulcrum, to streamline inventory management, order processing, production scheduling, and supply chain operations. (In Process of implementing ERP System)
• Handle day-to-day shop operations, including cost analysis, vendor relations, and financial oversight of production activities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with team members to improve operational efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• 3+ years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or a similar role.
• Proven expertise with Quick Books Online and ERP systems (experience with Fulcrum or similar platforms is a strong plus).
• Strong understanding of shop operations in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of financial legal compliance and best practices.
