As part of our emergency response unit, your role will include responding to fires, medical emergencies, and public safety initiatives in Brandon. We prioritize individuals who display a commitment to professionalism and public respect while maintaining the required certifications for both firefighting and paramedic duties. You will play a vital role in establishing trust within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Combat, control, and extinguish fires during incidents
• Perform medical care per professional guidelines
• Manage emergencies within police detention facilities
• Assist in effective dispatch and information logging
• Maintain ambulance equipment and personal protective gear
Requirements:
• Permanent Resident eligible for work in Canada
• Valid Manitoba driver’s license (Class
4)
• Must have passed comprehensive background checks
• Serving experience with a Paramedic Service
• Meet physical training and health standards
