Join the Manitoba Métis Federation as a full-time Policy Analyst in the Health & Wellness Department in Dauphin, MB. Research critical opportunities for enhancing the Red River Métis community’s participation in health issues.
This role is aimed at candidates committed to supporting the health and wellness of the Red River Métis Nation. You will undertake comprehensive analyses of health policies, assisting in the development of strategies that foster community capacity and sustainability. Your expertise will influence negotiations and program development with government bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze a range of social issues relevant to policy negotiations
• Conduct health research and review existing governmental programs
• Create proposals grounded in extensive research and evaluation
• Prepare financial analyses for program services
• Generate quarterly reports for federal and provincial assessment
Requirements:
• Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience
• Experience in public sector strategy implementation
• Strong grasp of social policy and governmental structure
• Organizational and time management proficiency
• Manitoba Driver’s license and travel capability
Play an essential role in shaping health policies that benefit the Red River Métis.
