TGH Imaging CT Technologist Position

Join TGH Imaging in Brandon as a CT Technologist 2 and work with advanced imaging technology. This on-site, full-time role emphasizes quality and patient safety in diagnostic imaging.

As CT Technologist 2, you'll perform advanced CT procedures with minimal supervision and ensure compliance with established protocols. You will be responsible for conducting biopsies and 3-D reconstructions while maintaining patient comfort and cooperation. This position requires strong skills in imaging processes and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and document relevant details for imaging examinations

• Explain procedures to patients and provide necessary contrast

• Adjust patient positioning to capture accurate images

• Operate CT equipment and set appropriate exposure levels

• Assess and produce high-quality diagnostic images

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Graduate of a recognized 2-year radiologic technology program

• Valid Florida State License (CRT) and ARRT certification needed

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) must be current

• Comprehensive knowledge of CT safety measures and protocols
