Become a Home Care Attendant with Prairie Mountain Health, providing essential care and support to clients in their homes. This role emphasizes maintaining client independence and optimizing health through personalized assistance.
As a Home Care Attendant, you will engage in direct client care, following established standards and protocols. Successful candidates hold a Health Care Aide Certificate and possess strong skills in Microsoft programs. You'll be responsible for supporting clients' daily living activities while ensuring their dignity and privacy are respected at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients in daily living activities and meals
• Demonstrate respect for client independence and privacy
• Utilize electronic programs for effective communication
• Report any changes in client status to supervisors
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to case conferences
Requirements:
• Health Care Aide Certificate from a recognized program
• Class 5 Drivers License and personal vehicle access
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and IT applications
• Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and flexibly
