Hours:

This position works the day shift (7:30am - 3:30pm) Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday and every other weekend. It is a part‑time, permanent position, 64 hours biweekly. Starting at $17.00 per hour.

The housekeeper is accountable for the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the community, including resident suites, common areas, and laundry services, and ensuring the safety and care needs of the residents of Rotary Villas are met. They provide housekeeping services supporting high quality customer service while ensuring that proper hygiene and disease prevention protocols are maintained.

Required:

• Possesses a high school diploma (Grade 12).
• A current and clear Criminal Record Check including Vulnerable Sector Search, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Check.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification required or must be willing to obtain upon hire.
• Fully vaccinated against Covid‑19.
• Possesses excellent organizational, time management and multi‑tasking skills.
• Physical and mental health to meet position demands.
• Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Customer‑focused attitude.
• Great attention to detail.
• Genuine interest in and concern for residents.
• Must have good attendance in present position.
• Demonstrated ability to verbally communicate and document in English.
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
• Maintains a professional appearance.

Preferred:

Minimum of 1 year experience in the provision of housekeeping service.
