- Conduct on‑site investigations and inspections for residential property claims arising from catastrophe events
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle moderate to high‑complexity property claims
- Document claim files thoroughly with notes, evaluations, and decision rationale
- Communicate empathetically and professionally with policyholders during stressful loss situations
- Support catastrophe response initiatives and contribute to meeting productivity, quality, and customer service objectives
- 3–5+ years of experience adjusting residential property claims, including moderate to complex losses
- Strong knowledge of property coverage interpretation and claim investigation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer‑service mindset
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned catastrophe territory
- Post‑secondary education, diploma, or relevant certification
- Experience handling catastrophe or large‑loss residential property claims
- CIP designation completed or in progress
- Proficiency with property estimating software (e.g., Xactimate, Xactanalysis)
- IICRC Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Bilingualism is considered an asset
