Purchasing professionals can support Behlen Industries in Brandon, Manitoba, using analysis and negotiation skills within Materials Management. This role is based in Brandon.
As a Purchaser, you will help provide materials and services at the right times, volumes, and prices. Responsibilities include analyzing, negotiating, purchasing, and expediting assigned commodities. You will also assist with order placement, receiving, expediting, G/L coding, and document processing.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze assigned commodities and purchasing requirements
- Negotiate purchases for materials and services
- Place orders and coordinate receiving activities
- Expedite assigned commodities and purchase orders
- Compile, verify, record, and process documents
- Office Administration Diploma or Certificate
- Two to three years of purchasing materials experience
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Attention to detail and priority management
