This role offers the chance to apply your technical skills in various building trades including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.

The Building Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and caring for grounds, buildings, and equipment within the organization. Ideal candidates will have two years of experience in building trades and familiarity with preventative maintenance practices. You will assist with maintenance tasks and ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols across the facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain facilities in safe, functional condition

• Clear snow, ice, and debris from entrances

• Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems

• Handle plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks

• Participate in construction and emergency response

Requirements:

• Minimum two years experience in a trade

• Class 5 Drivers Licence for Manitoba

• Proficient in Microsoft Office products

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in teams
