Facilities Manager at Physical Plant

Lead maintenance operations as a Facilities Manager for the Physical Plant in Brandon. Oversee HVAC, electrical systems, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.

In this full-time role, you’ll report to the Director of the Physical Plant. Your leadership will guide maintenance trades and power engineers in a safe environment. You will coordinate building maintenance activities while assisting in capital planning and managing renovations to meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead maintenance trades and engineers

• Coordinate HVAC and electrical system maintenance

• Manage capital planning and renovation projects

• Monitor compliance with safety regulations and codes

• Engage in business development and on-call supervision

Requirements:

• 2-3 year diploma in a related field

• 5 years supervisory experience in maintenance

• Familiarity with CMMS and computer skills

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Knowledge of risk management and legislation
